Calamba’s Giant Claypot

Aside from being the birthplace of our National Hero Jose Rizal, Calamba also bears a historical land mark which is the Calabanga “The Giant Clay Pot”.

Dubbed as World’s Biggest Claypot, Calabanga is erected at the city plaza of Calamba and its construction was completed in 1939. The names of the city’s baranggays written on its surface as you can see in the photo. This giant claypot is also found in the city’s official seal.

According to some blogs I have read, this land mark is a good resting place in between visiting other place in Calamba City. It has a view deck and below is a cave-like space.
